Field Preferred Meats, Kentucky Legend, Brand Revitalization
With more than 100 years of excellence in making hams, the Kentucky Legend brand suffered from an outdated graphics system that was developed before the product line was expanded. Flavor dierentiation and ease-of-selection were not optimal and the packaging lacked a strong family-look across different forms and sizes.
We created a label system that still conveys the rich heritage of the company while updating the graphics and providing differentiation between flavors such as Brown Sugar Glazed and Hickory Smoked Boneless. The final design system was selected to maintain brand equity while improving selection of flavor, size, and form.
